Food Service Supervisor

Trifon’s Pizza is a casual family restaurant located in Canora, a small town in Saskatchewan. We are looking for a reliable Food Service Supervisor to join our team.

We are a family-style restaurant serving a variety of casual menu items. We are looking for someone with food service experience who can help supervise daily restaurant operations and work alongside our kitchen and service staff.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of restaurant staff
• Assign daily duties and organize staff workflow
• Assist with staff scheduling
• Train staff in job duties, food safety and restaurant procedures
• Ensure food and service meet restaurant standards
• Monitor food preparation, portion sizes and quality
• Ensure proper food safety, sanitation and cleanliness procedures are followed
• Assist with inventory and keep track of food and supply needs
• Assist with ordering supplies when required
• Handle customer concerns when necessary
• Assist with opening and closing duties
• Work alongside team members during busy periods

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment
• Supervisory experience is an asset
• Reliable and responsible
• Good communication and organizational skills
• Able to supervise and work as part of a small team
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Available for varying shifts, including days, evenings and weekends
• Food Safe certification is an asset

Position Details:

• Permanent, full-time position
• 30–40 hours per week
• Hours and shifts may vary
• Day, evening and weekend availability is required
• $17.50–$18.50 per hour, depending on experience

This position is located in Canora, Saskatchewan, a small rural community. Applicants must be able to reliably commute to Canora or be willing to relocate to the area.
