**Overview:** Intuitive Independence Rehabilitation Services seeks a qualified Physiotherapist to deliver comprehensive assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation services in outpatient, inpatient, and community settings. The role includes clinical leadership and collaboration in a multidisciplinary care environment, adherence to evidence-based practices, and professional development.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- **Clinical Assessment and Treatment:** - Conduct thorough physiotherapy assessments, including patient history and physical examinations. - Develop and implement individualized treatment and rehabilitation plans. - Provide physiotherapy interventions such as therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, neuromuscular re-education, and pain management. - Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- **Specialized Care Delivery:** - Manage complex conditions like traumatic brain injury and neurological disorders. - Offer rehabilitation in various settings, including hospital, outpatient clinic, and home-based care. - Utilize specialized techniques as required, including vestibular rehabilitation and Pilates-based rehabilitation.
- **Documentation and Reporting:** - Maintain accurate clinical documentation compliant with organizational standards. - Prepare clinical reports and communicate findings with patients and healthcare teams.
- **Multidisciplinary Collaboration:** - Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to support coordinated patient care. - Engage in multidisciplinary meetings for case planning and discharge processes.
- **Clinical Leadership and Quality Assurance:** - Participate in quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practice standards. - Mentor junior physiotherapists and support staff in clinical skills and professional development.
- **Professional Practice Compliance:** - Adhere to standards of the College of Health and Care Professionals of British Columbia (CHCPBC). - Maintain professional competence and compliance with health and safety policies and regulations.
**Requirements:** - Relevant qualifications as a Physiotherapist. - Experience in diverse clinical settings. - Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team. - Commitment to professional development and quality assurance initiatives.
