**Insurance Manager Job Summary**

We are looking for an experienced Insurance Manager to lead our underwriting team and drive exceptional insurance solutions for our clients. The successful candidate will have strong sales skills, effective communication abilities, and a commitment to customer service. Key responsibilities include:

1. **Underwriting Team Management**: Oversee and coach the underwriting staff, implement new insurance products, conduct internal audits for quality and compliance, monitor team performance, and guide complex referrals and negotiations.

2. **New Business / Renewals**: Lead efforts in identifying and closing new business opportunities while maximizing retention of renewals. Analyze key metrics to improve quality and manage service standards.

3. **Broker Marketing**: Build and maintain long-term relationships with brokers, present product offerings, negotiate terms, and gather market intelligence for strategic insights.

4. **Binder Management**: Ensure compliance with regulatory standards in binder activities, oversee binder processes, and coordinate with auditors to maintain accuracy.

5. **PolicyWorks Oversight**: Lead the implementation and optimization of PolicyWorks, ensuring accurate data entry and consistency across systems while training staff on system updates.

6. **Reporting**: Deliver insightful data and reports to support strategy and operations, ensuring data integrity across reporting platforms.

**Qualifications**: Proven experience in insurance management, strong leadership skills, and a deep understanding of underwriting processes and regulatory compliance are essential. Candidates should exhibit strategic thinking and effective relationship management.

• Bachelor Degree and Proven experience in insurance sales or management roles with a strong understanding of the industry.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to negotiate effectively.
• Strong analytical skills to assess market conditions and client needs.
• Experience in outside sales, retail sales, telemarketing, or related fields is highly desirable.
• Bilingual or multilingual capabilities are a plus, particularly in Spanish.
• Demonstrated ability to provide outstanding customer service while managing multiple priorities.
